More wall progress
This morning I met another landscaper at our block to discuss all things retaining wall. Whilst there I was amazed at the progress of our walls. 5 tradies laying bricks and mortar with ease what quite impressive to watch.
Talking with Brendan (our SS), the plan is that the bricks will be done on the lower level by Tuesday followed by the scaffolding showing up on the same day. This will be erected over Tuesday & Wednesday. They guys will then return to lay bricks upstairs and this will be done by the end of next week! Amazing!
The following week will see the roof arrive and the chippies return to construct our balcony.
Anyhow, here are some pics from this afternoon. Really liking the hidden downpipe in the front brick pillar. Apparently having exposed downpipes on the front of your house is so 1999 😛
