It's FINALLY happening!

In the last two weeks things have started to get VERY interesting.

It started with the registration of 2357. Yes...it FINALLY registered.  On the 21st of June, I jumped online to search the Land Titles Office NSW website for an update. This was now a daily ritual since receiving the official Development Plan number from our solicitor back in early June and I was slightly taken aback when I saw that the block was registered. We had waited 927 days after all!

Exciting times!

It really does pay to have good people in your corner.  The work done by our Broker Renee in the lead up to not only our settlement of 2357, but her help in sorting out our finances a few years back when we first jumped into buying our block has been amazing. I have learnt a lot and have felt happy and confident to be guided by her knowledge and advice. The same goes for our Solicitor.  Bava from Turner Freeman has been all over things since registration has occurred and absolutely no time has been wasted in ensuring that our block will settle on July 5. After such a long wait is a relief to know we do not have to stress about processes and deadlines.

So yes, we are set to settle on Thursday next week. 2357 will officially be ours. 😃

Today the fences came down on Stage 23A. After parking up on Escarpment Drive whilst watching the final fences being removed from Thistle Way, I was quick to head on up as soon as possible.

Stoked to be the first car up there 😋

Some images below of our block up close from an earlier visit.  The kids haven't been up there yet but we will look at heading up there again over the weekend to show them what it is that Mum & Dad have been talking about for the last 2.5 years!

Tomorrow we meet with Jaison at Mincove to be presented with our plans for our new build. Pretty excited about that!  I will be sure to post the over the weekend.
