Yesterday the tradies were onsite very early to get the frames erected upstairs. They were at it most of the day finishing up around 3:30 before heading off for the long weekend.
The finished frames look amazing! We can now clearly see the floorplan of our new home although the stair access still looks a little confusing 😁
The roof trusses are laying on the block next door and will be installed on Tuesday when the crane returns. Exciting times!
Unfortunately we have been advised that there will be a slight delay due to our brick being not quite right. Our SS (Site Supervisor) called on Thursday arvo to ask us to look at the colour of the current batch of the "Truffle" brick by PGH. There is a pic below showing the colour discrepancy and we decided it was too dark for our liking, so bricks won't arrive until mid-Feb when they will have a new batch ready.
