The last couple of months

There has been plenty of work going on at Calderwood Valley since my last post.

The last two months have seen significant earthworks continue in 2A with clearing of the hill extending over the ridge line and down towards section 2B.  Over the last few weeks 2B has seen significant earthworks commence which is very exciting for those future residents.

"Our Hill" - the area where our highlighted block sits was cleared early May. Stage 2B has commenced a few weeks ago.

One of our "to be" neighbours flew  drone over the site a few weeks ago and shared some images on a community Facebook page. There were  couple that caught my eye so I thought I would share them here. The second image shows the planing maps played over the aerial image. Very interesting!

Aerial of Stage 2A on the North side of North Macquarie Drive. This is our hill :)

The view from Calderwood Rd looking up towards the back of our hill. This shows the earthworks heading down into the flat areas of Stage 2B.

This was taken near the crossroads of North Macquarie Drive and Calderwood Rd. Just beyond the dam is where the flat blocks of release 2B will commence with our block up and over the nearest hill.

I captured this just last week from Calderwood Rd. A council notice regarding future land releases fixed to a fence post.  In the distance you can make out the cleared hill of Stage 2B.

Exciting times for 2B residents. Earthworks commencing on their release not even a fortnight ago.

The sign says it all. Shot last week.

Last week - looking up our hill from North Macquarie Drive. Things are slowly taking shape.

A Panoramic of 1C & 1D on the left and 2A on both sides of the road closest to me. Great to see streets, kerbs and gutters taking shape in 1C!

Machinery in 2A

Not the best...the iPhone doesn't like the sun but you get the idea. Stage 2A Northside.

Machinery last week - Stage 2B.

Yours truly going gaga over boys toys :P
