More movement on our hill.

There has been plenty of progress in Release 2A, so I thought i would blog a series of photos showing the progress so far.

Lend Lease updated their FB page today saying that registrations for Releases 1B,1C & 1D would occur later this year and that progress on roads and infrastructure are coming along nicely. they also said that Release 2A have undergone major earthworks (that's us!) and 2B would follow shortly.

March 30th 2016: Heading up North Macquarie Rd.  This is release 2B

April 27th 2016: Our hill, taken from what was the driveway leading to the existing house on top of the hill

April 27th 2016: A lone piece of machinery on the hill, making little mounds of dirt.

April 27th 2016: heading up the hill, the grass is pretty long. 

April 27th 2016 Halfway up our hill, looking to the south- west. We think our house will be somewhere here.

April 29th 2016: Killer sunsets out this way!  Again, shot from the old driveway looking up our hill.

May 4th 2016: OMG! They're clearing the land. Amazing how quickly this happened.

May 4th 2016: Star Wars Day! May the force be with you.

May 5th 2016: Happy Birthday Michelle!  This is the old residence up on the hill. This was a farm however it is set for demolition and the farmer will build a new property on the 5 acres he is keeping.  Windows are already out and this house is just a shell.

May 7th 2016:  The clearing is progressing at a rapid rate. Amazing.

May 9th 2016: Machinery atop the hill.

May 11th 2016: More earthmoving equipment.

May 11th 2016: Clearing all the way down close to the roadside on North Macquarie Drive. This gate is now blocking the driveway leading up to the old farmhouse. We're now looking at an official construction site. Exciting!

May 12th 2016: A lot has gone on.

May 12th 2016: Our Havana will be somewhere up the hill towards that tree on the left :)

17th may 2016: Looks like some fill coming in.

May 17th 2016: More fill.

May 19th 2016: Some serious progress. Looking up the hill, we think our Havana will be built to the right of that second mound of fill, heading up towards the lone tree centre of frame. We won't know for sure until the blocks are marked out.

May 20th 2016: More sunset goodness.  Notice the large "X" poles marking out  the power lines above.
